Astronomy 125: Observational Astronomy

- You will be spending considerable time at Standeford Observatory this term and should check out the web page so you will know what to expect.
- Observing Assignment #1: A pdf list of (mostly) Messier objects for you to locate at the observatory.
- Observing Assignment #2: A pdf list of double stars for you to locate at the observatory.
- Finding Tips: A pdf giving pointers and diagrams on how to locate each of the objects in the above two assignments; a good item to print out and bring to the observatory.
- You may wish to examine the Outline of Lecture Topics for Astronomy 125, also available as a pdf version.
