Important notes!

Color filmFor each exam you will need to have a General Purpose #4521 ANSWER SHEET (a.k.a. Scantron) and a No. 2 pencil.

Color filmIf you miss a film, it will be on reserve at the Electronic Resource Center (ERC) in the basement of the library for four-hour checkout. (When the ERC is closed they are available at the main circulation desk on the 1st floor.)

Second extra credit update (Friday, April 20, 2012). Another chance to get second extra credit:

  • Option 1: Attend the 2nd Annual MSU Student Film Showcase on Tuesday, April 24, at 7 PM in Ostrander Auditorium in the CSU and fill out a form on your favorite student film. The form will be available at the event. To get extra credit you must turn the form in that evening.

— OR —
  • Option 2: Attend the screening of Bride and Prejudice (2004) on Thursday, April 26, at 7 PM in Armstrong Hall 325. Pick up an attendance receipt after the showing. Fill out the extra credit form here and email or deliver the completed form with the attendance receipt to me on or before the final on April 30.

Each extra credit assignment is worth a maximum of 10 points for a total of 20 possible extra credit points.

The class is listed on D2L. I will be sending class emails via D2L, so if you are not signed up, please do so ASAP. All class info, however, will be available on filmfun.org, not D2L.

For the record, the course will use the +/- grading system:

93 & up = A 87-89 = B+ 77-79 = C+ 67-69 = D+ below 60 = F
90-92 = A- 83-86 = B 73-76 = C 63-66 = D  
  80-82 = B- 70-72 = C- 60-62 = D-
